"My son’s love for music started with a 5-piece drum kit playing in a rock band. His band eventually parted ways and he struggled to find new peers to jam with.   We luckily found Mix Major and my son was there for the school’s first day. 

 

That first class in 2018 was a game changer. My son realized through music production, he could be his own band and much more! He traded his drum kit for a production setup and the rest is history.   Years later he continues to learn, be challenged, and is just as excited to attend class like it was his 1st day.   Not only is Eric a great teacher and talented music artist but his experience in the music industry provides a wealth of knowledge.   How many can say their music teacher has toured with Madonna?! 

 

The Workshops he provides with other professionals leave my son awestruck and thirsty for more. On top of the production and DJ aspects, my son is learning things he never thought he would like music theory and engineering. Eric’s enthusiasm and passion make classes upbeat regardless of skill level and age. 

 

At Mix Major, students also have the opportunity to showcase their work. My son had an amazing experience showing off his music live at the Soundcheck club in DC! From homeschool, to public, and even through COVID, Mix Major has always been there for my child. Now with Mix Major’s virtual platform, my son is able to network. 

He has found the confidence to build up his social media presence and collaborate with other music artists from around the United States in and out of class. 

 

Eric has been a staple in my son’s pursuit to be a music producer and he is excited to reach the next level! We are so proud to be a part of Mix Major."
